01

What is liposuction?

Modern liposuction uses fine cannulas to remove localized fat. A tumescent solution is usually introduced beforehand to facilitate the procedure and reduce bleeding. Areas may include the abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, arms or neck. It does not replace healthy habits or serve as a weight-loss treatment.

02

Lipo 360 and high definition

Conventional liposuction treats one or a few areas. Lipo 360 addresses the abdomen, waist and back circumferentially to plan harmonious transitions. High-definition techniques aim to emphasize muscular anatomy; not everyone is a candidate.

03

Technology for each case

Power-assisted liposuction, such as Microaire, may support uniform fat removal. Radiofrequency, such as BodyTite, may be considered to encourage skin contraction in selected cases. The choice depends on volume, skin quality, history and goals. No technology replaces medical evaluation.

04

Who may be a candidate?

Lipo 360 may be considered when fat is distributed around the abdomen, waist and back, and treating a single area would leave uneven transitions. A localized procedure may suffice when fat is concentrated in one area. The decision follows a review of your history, anatomy and goals.

  • Stable weight close to your personal goal, with localized fat deposits.
  • Adequate skin elasticity for the proposed plan.
  • Good general health with no conditions that contraindicate surgery.
  • Realistic expectations: improved contour, not a target number on the scale.
05

When to wait or consider another option

It may be advisable to postpone surgery when significant weight loss is planned or goals are unclear. Significant excess skin may require a procedure that removes it, such as a tummy tuck. Smoking and combined procedures are reviewed carefully because they can increase risk.

06

Safety and planning

A higher body mass index, smoking and combining procedures may increase risk. A complete pre-operative assessment, individualized blood-clot prevention, an appropriate hospital setting and close follow-up are required. Benefits, limitations and possible complications are explained in consultation.

07

Recovery week by week

Recovery depends on the extent of treatment, volume removed, skin quality and individual response. A single area usually requires less initial recovery than circumferential treatment. Swelling decreases gradually and contour continues to develop over several months.

  • First days: relative rest, frequent gentle walks; swelling, bruising and soreness are expected.
  • Weeks 1–3: use compression as directed; discomfort and bruising usually decrease.
  • Weeks 3–6: independence increases; higher-impact exercise resumes gradually with clearance.
  • Following months: residual swelling gradually resolves and results settle.
08

Recovery care

Correct compression use, hydration, relative rest and follow-up visits support recovery. Driving resumes when discomfort allows and you are no longer taking medication that makes driving unsafe.

  • Take short, frequent walks from the first day as directed.
  • Avoid high-impact exercise until medically cleared.
  • Attend follow-up appointments and report unexpected changes.
  • Be patient: swelling does not disappear immediately.
09

Individual pricing

The cost depends on areas, volume, technique, technology, operating time, and hospital and team fees. A personalized estimate is provided after evaluation.

Frequently asked questions

Information for your decision

How does liposuction work?+

Fine cannulas remove localized fat, usually after introducing a tumescent solution. It improves contour in specific areas, but is not a weight-loss method.

What are the benefits and risks?+

It may improve contour and proportion. Risks include contour irregularities, seroma and hematoma. Appropriate selection, a hospital setting and follow-up help reduce risk.

Which technique is appropriate?+

Conventional, power-assisted, ultrasound-assisted and radiofrequency-assisted techniques are available. Selection depends on skin quality, volume, areas, history and goals.

How long does recovery take?+

Recovery depends on the extent and individual response. Some people resume light desk work in a few days; higher-impact exercise often resumes gradually around four to six weeks, with medical clearance.

What does Lipo 360 include?+

It is a circumferential approach that may include the abdomen, waist and back for a more balanced contour. Candidacy and scope are individualized.

How much does it cost?+

No general price is published. Areas, volume, technique, technology, operating time, and hospital and team fees determine the estimate after evaluation.

When can I return to work?+

This depends on your job and the extent of treatment. Desk work may resume partially within a few days in some cases; physical work requires longer and medical clearance.

When will I see the final result?+

Contour becomes clearer as swelling decreases over weeks or months. Results should not be judged in the first days.

How long is compression needed?+

Usually several weeks, but the precise period depends on the areas treated, recovery and the surgeon's instructions. Do not change use without supervision.
